Students hold expo to support differently-abled children
Thrissur: Sixty young aspiring artists of Hari Sri Vidya Nidhi School at Punkunnam in Thrissur put a smile back on the faces of differently-abled children through a special drive.
The students of the school who were recently exposed to the world of design, used their artistic skill to produce finely designed garments as part of a fund raising programme which was aimed at supporting their fellow children with special needs. Designer sarees imprinted with students’ creative strokes in various shades of colours were displayed and organized an exhibition by the students at the school on Monday.

For Anjali Varma, her recently concluded exhibition — Khadi Tale — was a bold step towards a great cause. It was a fund-raising event to support paediatric cancer patients. Anjali, a native of Thrissur and mother of two, is happy about the success of the exhibition held at Shobha City Club House in Thrissur on May 13 and 14. The event was inaugurated by T.S. Kalyanaraman, chairman of Kalyan Jewellers.
